After many years of working hard we were finally able to look at an investment property to hopefully secure our future in retirement. This process of looking for properties and trying to understand the market, growth and what is the right property to purchase was overwhelming at times and we really appreciated feedback from the people we were meeting when viewing different properties. This was an interesting process but also disappointing at some points due to continual hounding from a couple of salesmen from other Real Estates; regrettably I ended up blocking their numbers as it was becoming uncomfortable and they would not allow us space to consider options. Many other real estates were good but ultimately are there to do a job and sell properties in a market that is not thriving as it used to. My wife and I spent over 6 months looking for an investment property in the Penrith area . This was a somewhat stressful time , as each inspection of a property involved a 4 hour round trip from Bathurst to Penrith and back . At the start of our quest , we contacted most of the local agents . Some were just woeful in their lack of interest in servicing our needs , and were soon given the flick .
